This viral cottage cheese wrap is made with simple ingredients, has a soft and pliable texture and is perfect as a high protein, low carb option to use as a wrap or flatbread.
Love high-protein cottage cheese recipes? Try my cottage cheese eggs and this cottage cheese quiche.
As I’m sure you’re aware, cottage cheese is the new cauliflower and we’re using it to make everything these days…. including low carb, high protein wraps! This recipe was trending on social media and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was something I needed to try.
I made the recipe my own by using liquid egg whites instead of an egg and added some seasonings based on what I prefer and it turned out so good! I love that it’s made with simple ingredients (real food) and that the wrap alone offers 34 grams of protein. The best part is that the wrap actually holds together really well and it’s soft and pliable making it perfect for using as a wrap or flatbread.
I’ve made both flatbread sandwiches and wraps with this cottage cheese wrap! My favorite combo so far is the turkey club wrap I’m sharing below with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. It’s delish!
