I first tasted this Creamy Chicken Casserole at a restaurant in New Jersey. Impressed with its texture and creaminess, I decided to take my chances and ask the waiter about the preparation because achieving such delicious results from such simple ingredients surprised me.
When the waiter informed me that the dish was prepared in a slow cooker, everything made sense. This recipe features boneless chicken thighs coated in butter, aromatic spices, and lemon juice.
